Human Nature

For the past few weeks a class of year 8 students have been exploring the paper cut work by Elsa Mora and her original approach to combining imagery of biological with flora and fauna. The students interpreted this by creating their own merged imagery of anatomical body parts or living beings with that of flora. These were then translated through the method of lino carving and printing. The following artwork was made by one of the students who merged ideas of vegetable leaves with that of rabbit ears.
