This term the year 9 students have been exploring ways to express the theme of ‘Inside/Outside’ through printmaking and sculpture. Half of the class used imagery associated with inside houses and the other focused on outside. The students created multi coloured lino prints as well as sculptural ‘tree houses’ to represent their idea. Students learnt about techniques of lino Printing as well as carving and making repeating stamp patterns. All students were inventive in the ways they approached this assignment and showed inventive uses of varied Art mediums.
